What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Identify what is meant by good mental health
- Identify what is meant by mental ill health
- Identify what different factors contribute to our wellbeing
- State a reason it is important to look after mental health
- Identify how a person may feel when experiencing a low mood and how to deal with the situation
- Research different support that people can have for mental health (charities, community activities, mental health workshops)
- Identify three coping strategies to build emotional resilience for good mental health in their daily life
