What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Identify and indicate numbers up to 10, in at least three different community contexts
- Identify what different numbers in the community represent, from a choice of two e.g. prices/addresses
- Sort and classify numbers in the community to a simple familiar given criterion from a choice of two with support

Respond to questioning around numbers in the community e.g. what would I need to know to get a bus into town? E.g. time/price from a choice of two

Extract information from a range of community sources e.g. signs, lists, tables to respond to questioning when given a choice of two
