The learner can:
- Answer at least two questions about items typically found in a shop with words or short phrases using chosen communication method
- Communicate preferences for at least two shopping items with words or short phrases using chosen communication method
- Identify four words associated with shopping; eg bread, milk, shop, money
- Take part in two reading activities with shopping-based literature including fictional text, with support as required
