Be able to read, state and classify numbers to 100 and their representations in a range of community contexts.
Be able to independently respond appropriately to questioning and problem solving around numbers in the community.

Assessment criteria
What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Read and write numbers up to 100, in at least three different community contexts
- State what different numbers in the community represent and give reasons for their use e.g. prices/addresses
- Sort and classify numbers in the community to their own criterion , e.g. prices/times/ route
- Independently respond to questioning around numbers in the community e.g. what would I need to know to get a bus into town?
- Solve one-step and two-step problems based on statistical information in tables, lists and charts linked to the local community
