The learner will:
Be able to correctly identify protective clothing and equipment needed to ride a tricycle, with adult support.
Be able to choose a tricycle or bicycle suitable for their needs and check it is safe to ride.

Assessment criteria
What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Fit a safety helmet, with adult support where required
- Choose and wear a hi-visibility vest
- Choose an appropriate bike from a selection given
- Adjust the seat, with adult support
- Check that the tyres are inflated and check for damage to the tyre
- Check the brakes are working
