- Use a calculator and the +,-,÷, x and = signs to solve simple problems in a retail context
- Use and interpret +,-,x, ÷ and = for solving problems in a retail context
- Appreciate the purchasing power of amounts of money (notes) e.g do they have enough money to buy an item
- Use decimal notation for money e.g. understand that £3.20 should not be written as £3.2 or £3.20p in a retail context
- Interpret a calculator display e.g. understand that 3.2 (in pounds) on a calculator means £3.20 in a retail context
- Add amounts of money and give change in a retail context
