The learner will:
Develop 2D shape skills related to their community.
Develop 3D shape skills related to their community.
Assessment criteria
What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Identify simple 2D shapes
- Identify simple 2D shapes out in the community e.g. clock, signs
- Identify simple 2D shapes in a range of sizes eg large rectangles and small rectangles, large circles and small circles (different books, different windows etc)
- Identify simple 3D shapes eg cubes, cuboids
- Identify simple 3D shapes out in the community eg boxes, buildings, spires
- Identify simple 3D shapes in a range of sizes e.g. large cubes and small cubes, large spheres and small spheres (different boxes, different balls etc)
