The learner will:
Be able to engage in a group discussion about what a community is and what it means to be part of a community.
Be able to identify groups of people these activities would be used by and if they are applicable to themselves.

Assessment criteria
What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Contribute to a group discussion about what is a community on at least two occasions
- Identify and name at least four different places that are used within the local community e.g. community centre, post office, school etc
- State what group each activity would is for e.g. teenagers, elderly, families etc
- State which activity would be suitable for their participation
- Give a reason why
