The learner can:

Consider and correct the position of their knees and toes when in the saddle to achieve a relaxed leg position

Show that they are able to reliably maintain a correct position in walk when observed on at least three occasions
- Reliably use the reins to support steering the horse or pony through a line of bending cones
- Demonstrate their ability to maintain a correct position steering through a line of bending cones
- Show confidently and competently that they are able to maintain a correct position whilst steering on three observed occasions
