What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Competently use widgit programme to design a menu with minimal support
- Competently find and use royalty free Google images to add to a widgit symbol document to create a visually accessible menu
- Consider the visual presentation of the document that they are creating, reviewing and evaluating accuracy throughout the process
- Accurately type and choose the correct symbols to relay correct meaning of items from the original menu using widgit software
- Accurately use royalty free Google images to support the visual communication of the menu to make the menu understandable
