The learner will:
Be able to select an appropriate recipe to follow and list ingredients and equipment needed.
Be able to follow correct health and safety procedures.
Assessment criteria
What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Select a recipe they'd like to use
- State at least three ingredients needed
- State at least three pieces of equipment needed
- Follow the recipe step by step with minimal support
- Present the meatballs ready to be served
- Wash their hands
- Following instructions around higher risk areas (e.g. oven and hob)
- Help clean the surfaces
- Help to clear away equipment and ingredients
