What the learner needs to know, understand or be able to do
The learner will:
Feel the shape and texture of up to three pieces of soft fruit.
Feel the inside flesh of a piece of soft fruit focusing on different textures of the flesh.
Assessment criteria
What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Hold a piece of fruit for ten seconds
- With support where needed, explore the shape and texture of the fruit skin
- Squash the soft fruit onto a table or tray to feel the texture of the flesh
- Experience the different textures of the flesh of up to three different soft fruits
