Be able to recognise and identify emergencies from situations that require help and what situations require calling 999.

What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Correctly sort a range of photographs or symbols into two groups: those that are emergency situations requiring 999 assistance and those that require help
- Identify which number to call in an emergency
- Identify which emergency service is required
