Learning outcomes
What the learner needs to know, understand or be able to do
The learner will:
Explore different activities that they need to do to maintain personal hygiene and actively take part in self-care routines such as hand washing, teeth cleaning etc.
Explore the clothes they might need in cold weather and be able to dress themselves appropriately for going out of the house/classroom in bad weather.

Assessment criteria
What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Identify four different activities that support their own personal hygiene e.g. washing hands, cleaning teeth, washing face, wearing deodorant
- Map out a morning or evening hygiene routine
- Identify different items of clothing that they need to wear when it is cold/wet/rainy
- Say why it is important to their wellbeing to wear these e.g. a coat to keep them warm, an anorak to keep them dry
