Be able to identify kitchen equipment/appliances and what these are used for.
Be able to be able to demonstrate using kitchen equipment/appliances safely.
Assessment criteria
What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Name five different pieces of equipment/appliances found in the kitchen
- State what each one is used for
- Choose three pieces of kitchen equipment/appliances and demonstrate using them safely
- Produce a poster showing three pieces of equipment that can be dangerous in a kitchen and identify the safe ways to use them
