Learning outcomes
What the learner needs to know, understand or be able to do
The learner will:
Be able to choose one community symbol from a choice of at least two after an adult has modelled this.
Participate in a visit in the school/college environment experiencing different social signs and symbols.
Assessment criteria
What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Track the correct symbol using eye gaze or by pointing
- Match at least two different symbols to images
- React to different social signs and symbols they encounter using eye gaze or by pointing on at least two occasions
