The learner can:

    • Discuss each of the features and their purpose; list of resources, imperative verbs, bullet points or numbers, steps in order and labelled diagrams/photos/illustrations 
    • Identify imperative verbs in a text
    • Create own sentences with given imperative verbs
    • Use the title to identify the purpose of a set of instructions
    • Identify and collate ingredients or resources
    • Follow numbers and bullet points in sequence
    • Act on the imperative verbs
    • Refer to diagrams, illustrations or labels
