- Discuss each of the features and their purpose; list of resources, imperative verbs, bullet points or numbers, steps in order and labelled diagrams/photos/illustrations
- Identify imperative verbs in a text
- Create own sentences with given imperative verbs
- Use the title to identify the purpose of a set of instructions
- Identify and collate ingredients or resources
- Follow numbers and bullet points in sequence
- Act on the imperative verbs
- Refer to diagrams, illustrations or labels
