What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Identify at least five dishes from around the world
- Use their senses to explore at least three different ingredients per dish
- Indicate their preference for each ingredient
- Choose dishes to make from five different countries, with support as needed
- Use tools to prepare, with support as needed
- Show actions to combine ingredients, with support as needed
- Cook dishes as required using the hob or oven, with support as needed
- Present foods appropriately, eg on a plate
