The learner will:
Be able to adapt sentences by using persuasive techniques.
Be able to use persuasive techniques and their own ideas to design an advertising poster.

What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Copy a writing style presented by the teacher e.g. think of some rhyming words, think of some words which start with the same letter, turn a statement into a question, repeat a word or phrase, use exciting adjectives
- Identify product or event to advertise
- Plan key information to be included
- Use word processing software to edit, draft and re-draft their work
- Use four or more of the the following familiar techniques in an advert to sell their own product-positive adjectives, asking questions, referring to positive feelings, using celebrities, alliteration, repetition, rhyme
