The learner can:
- State three items growing in the wild that are safe to forage for horses
- Give one example of a safe place to forage and one example of a dangerous place to forage
- Describe what is meant by horse safe food growing in the wild i.e. not on a person's private land
- State the main safety rule when foraging for horse safe food
- Identify a safe and appropriate area to forage
- Identify the items they are foraging
- Gather safe foraging for the horse, taking care of their own personal safety i.e. being mindful of thorns and/or only harvesting within reach
