- Answer a 'what', 'who' and 'where' question about four different types of functional texts
- Select the correct answer from a multiple choice questions about four different types of functional texts
- Answer 'true or false' questions about four different types of functional texts
- Scan to obtain an answer from a text of at least seven lines long with two types of functional text
- Obtain a date, time and location from a text on two occasions
