Learning outcomes
What the learner needs to know, understand or be able to do
The learner will:
Be able to participate in washing up items used after eating a meal or snack.
Assessment criteria
What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Watch a demonstration of how to wash up items
- Support an adult to fill the sink/washing up bowl with water and washing up liquid
- Put plates, bowls, cups and cutlery into the sink
- Use a sponge to participate in washing up
- Put items onto a drainer once washed and clean
- Be able to repeat the process on at least three occasions
