Assessment criteria
What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Name three coins from a selection e.g. 10p, 5p, 2p
- Exchange money for an item at the shop (real shop or role play)
- Explore the value of different coins e.g. 20p is more than 10p
- Explore combining two groups together and realising the number is bigger e.g. using practical items to combine groups together
- Explore addition in real life situations (role play or in the community) e.g. going to the shop and using money
