Assessment criteria
What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Listen to a two step instruction and follow it e.g. get your shoes and put them on; go to the toilet and wash your hands
- Answer questions that are asked about a story they are reading/have read e.g. Do you like....? What did you think of....?
- Hold a short conversation with an adult or fellow student e.g. How are you today? I am fine thank you
- Use two means of communication linked to the world of work e.g. telephone, interview, over the counter in a shop
