What the learner needs to know, understand or be able to do
The learner will:
Be able to identify basic language used to compare the cost of items.
Be able to demonstrate understanding that you are unable to purchase items that you do not have enough money for.
Assessment criteria
What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Identify the cheapest item from a choice of two, using language such as least, cheapest, less, lowest
- Identify the most expensive item from a choice of two, using language such as most, more, highest
- Answer yes or no when asked if they have enough money for a specific item
- Answer yes or no when asked if they would be allowed to buy an item that they did not have enough money to pay for
