The learner will:
Understand sheep parasites and the importance of worming.
Be able to identify worming products and dosages and administer wormer safely.

The learner can:
- Explain common ovine parasites and their impact on a sheep’s health
- Describe the importance of regular worming and the potential consequences of untreated parasite infestations
- Explain the recommended timing and frequency of worming treatments for sheep
- Identify commonly used worming products for sheep
- Determine the appropriate dosage of a worming product based on a sheep’s weight
- Demonstrate proper techniques for administering an oral worming treatment to a sheep under supervision
- Explain safety precautions to consider when handling and administering worming medication
