What the learner needs to know, understand or be able to do

The learner will:

  1. Take part in a range of different activities which may support their own mental health and wellbeing.

  2. Demonstrate preferences, show likes and dislikes or make choices about activities which may contribute to good mental health and wellbeing.

Assessment criteria

What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome

The learner can:

    • Demonstrate awareness of taking part in at least two different activities which may support mental health and wellbeing
    • Actively engage in at least two different activities which may support mental health and wellbeing
    • Respond to at least two different activities which may contribute to good mental health and wellbeing which are interpreted by a familiar adult to be representing a 'like' or a 'don't like' response
    • Indicate a choice or preference on at least two occasions about an activity they would like to take part in which may contribute to good mental health and wellbeing through their preferred means of communication
