Assessment criteria

What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome

The learner can:

    • Number the “dots” in a cell (one to six) correctly
    • Recognise the difference between a raised dot (filled) and no dot (unfilled), in a Braille cell
    • Produce a minimum of five unique letters in Braille successfully
    • Use at least one method to produce alphabetic signs in Braille
