What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome

The learner can:

    • Identify at least two hazards when gardening
    • State two ways to overcome identified hazards
    • Create a display poster about gardening safety
    • Store gardening equipment safely after use
    • Label the parts of a plant e.g. petal, anther, stigma, style
    • Identify the role of at least two parts of the plant e.g. the anther contains pollen
    • Understand that some plants e.g. trees have extra parts e.g. trunk and branches
