Assessment criteria
What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Identify at least two hazards when gardening
- State two ways to overcome identified hazards
- Create a display poster about gardening safety
- Store gardening equipment safely after use
- Label the parts of a plant e.g. petal, anther, stigma, style
- Identify the role of at least two parts of the plant e.g. the anther contains pollen
- Understand that some plants e.g. trees have extra parts e.g. trunk and branches
