What the learner needs to know, understand or be able to do
The learner will:
Convert recipes for sandwich and jacket potato fillings to make them visually accessible for a cafe.
Produce a ready-to-use, hygienic recipe book for sandwich and jacket potato fillings to use by all cafe staff.
Assessment criteria
What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Competently use widgit programme to convert recipes with minimal support, adding royalty free Google images to create visually accessible recipes
- Consider the visual presentation of the document that they are creating, reviewing and evaluating accuracy throughout the process
- Accurately type and choose the correct symbols to relay correct meaning of items from the original recipes using widgit software
- Use a printer to produce a finished set of recipes
- Ensure that the recipes are able to be cleaned by laminating the recipes
