The learner will:
Be able to answer the question ‘who’ is in the picture.
Be able to read the 'who' in the sentence.
Assessment criteria
What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Choose the correct symbol out of a choice of two to answer the question 'who is in the picture?'
- Place the correct symbol in the allocated space ('Orange outline square' on a sentence strip - as directed by NHS Speech and Language England.)
- Read and/or point to the 'who' symbol in the sentence, with support
- Continue to point to the rest of the sentence, with support
- Attempt to read and verbalise the sentence whilst pointing to each symbol, with support
