What the learner needs to know, understand or be able to do

The learner will:

  1. Be able to engage in sensory massage.

  2. Be able to engage in sensory activities linked to bodily systems.

Assessment criteria

What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome

The learner can:

    • Engage in sensory massage on at least three different body parts
    • Use preferred communication device to give a simple opinion about sensory massage
    • Use preferred communication device to request massage on a body part
    • Engage in sensory activities linked to the digestive system (e.g, play dough poo)
    • Engage in sensory activities linked to the respiratory system (e.g, inflated balloons)
