The learner can:
- Look at a range of sources to create a fact file on four saints
- Take part in a discussion about the similarities between the four saints and their lives
- Take into account what has been discussed and state what a saint is
- Take part in a group discussion about the story of St John Ogilivy and identify his motivation
- Research the life of Mary St MacKillop using a range of resources, and create a presentation on her
- Read the story of St Francis and answer questions on his life
- Use a range of resources to create a presentation on Mother Teresa and explain why she was made a saint
- Order fragments of the diary of Saint Joan and explain why she was made a saint
