Assessment criteria

What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome

The learner can:

    • Explore a simple design software programme they can use to create a maths game
    • Identify which software programme they will use to create their game 
    • List at least three maths areas the game could be based on 
    • Carry out a survey to find out what area pupils need support with, and identify the most popular
    • Carry out a survey of up to five options to find out things of interest that can be included in the game and identify the most popular
    • State which topic they would like to focus on when planning and producing their game
