- Count up to ten objects in a range of everyday situations, demonstrating one-to-one correspondence
- Recognise numbers and match them to the correct number of items
- Sort a collection of objects (e.g., books, food items, clothes) into groups based on one characteristic (e.g., colour, size, type)
