The learner can:

    • Identify a range of familiar objects (e.g., personal items, everyday objects, and items from the local environment such as a traditional dish, camel, or local buildings) on 5 separate occasions
    • Use different tools (pencils, markers, crayons, brushes etc.) to make marks that are associated with the meaning of familiar objects on three occasions
    • Use different tools (pencils, markers, crayons, brushes etc.) to make marks that are associated with the meaning of words relating to a chosen topic on three occasions
