The learner will:

  1. Participate in experiments using common chemicals such as vinegar, baking soda.

  2. Name simple chemicals found in the home such as soap, shampoo, toothpaste.

The learner can:

    •  Make a simple prediction using visuals 
    •  Follow a symbolised instruction to conduct a simple experiment
    •  Observe a change that happened supported by visuals
    • Use a communication mat to identify chemicals
    • Use symbols to name chemicals
