The learner will:
Be able to understand the meaning of the term 'mindfulness' and explain the potential impact of mindfulness activities on mental well-being.
Be able to take part in and reflect on different mindfulness activities.

Assessment criteria
What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Research and define the meaning of the term 'mindfulness'
- Research and describe at least four different mindfulness activities that they could participate in
- Research and explain the potential impact of mindfulness activities on mental well-being
- Take part in a range of mindfulness activities such as meditation, nature walks, gratitude practices and sketching over a period of at least two weeks
- Keep a record of their participation using a reflective log and/or evidence of their participation such as annotated photographs and drawings
- Explain at least three positive emotions that they have felt when participating in mindfulness activities
