Assessment criteria

What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome

The learner can:

    • Listen to pop, rock, folk, country and classical music
    • Draw or stick an emoji under each type of music to express their feelings towards it
    • Listen to three different songs
    • Tap or clap in beat with the song (a guide can be given) and say if it is fast or slow
    • Identify one or more instruments they can hear in the song (e.g. drum, guitar, piano)
