Assessment criteria

What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome

The learner can:

    • State 3 fabrics and describe their textures.
    • State and collect samples of 6 materials all with different textures. 
    • Using a template or a ruler, mark out a square shape for each of the different materials, ensuing they are the same size. 
    • Use scissors to cut the shapes
    • Demonstrate the ability to follow 1 basic health and safety rules when using the scissors.
