Assessment criteria
What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- State 2 key features of the country that is being learnt about, e.g. flag, national dress.
- State 3 typical foods relating to the country.
- Identify and demonstrate making a simple meal or traditional dish from the country.
- Get involved in the organisation and take part in an event that celebrates the culture of another country, such as making decorations, preparing a display, playing musical instruments.
- Use 3 examples of key words and/or phrases to communicate simple greetings, questions and responses in the relelvant language.
