What the learner needs to know, understand or be able to do
The learner will:
Understand that some people in the community require help and be able to identify who might need help most
Be able to take part in an activity which helps others in the community
Assessment criteria
What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Identify at least two different groups of people who may require help e.g. unemployed, disabled, ill, elderly, children, homeless
- Identify an organisation or person that can help each group of people named
- Identify an activity which will help other people
- Take part in the activity
- State how this activity has helped others
