The learner will:
- Know the different types of digital image and how they are used.
- Be able to use hardware and software to create digital image.

Assessment criteria
What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- The learner will be able to identify and simply describe at least two different types of digital image and how it is used.
- Use different types of hardware to create a digital image, i.e. digital camera, scanner and/or computer.
- Use editing soft ware to create and/or edit a digital image; i.e. image manipulation such as resizing, cropping, adding new elements.
- Create and save a created digital image using Paint.Net.
