What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- experience making a symmetrical pattern on two occasions. e.g. fold a piece of paper in half, apply paint to one side, fold and open to produce a symmetrical pattern or use Multi-link and mirrors
- identify shapes that are 'the same' on either side of a line of symmetry on two occasions
