Learning outcomes

What the learner needs to know, understand or be able to do

The learner will:

  1. Be able to identify hazardous objects and ways to stay safe.

  2. Be able to recognise individuals and services who can help them to keep safe.

Assessment criteria

What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome

The learner can:

    • Identify at least three objects that could be dangerous eg knife 
    • Identify at least two ways to keep themselves safe eg don't use water near electricity
    • Identify at least three adults who they can ask for help eg parents, teacher
    • Identify three emergency services and state how each one can provide help
