What the learner needs to know, understand or be able to do
The learner will:
Be able to experience activities relating to physical and human features of a country.
Be able to experience activities to compare the UK with another country.
Assessment criteria
What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Participate in activities that explore the physical features of a place in the UK and another country e.g. collaging landscapes, sensory activities to explore weather conditions, exploring flora and fauna, with appropriate support
- Participate in activities that explore the human features of a place in the UK and another country e.g. modelling buildings or structures, using ICT to draw images etc, with appropriate support
- Explore images, sounds, videos and sensory activities that compare and contrast the UK to another country e.g. music, food, weather, schooling, activities, sports, with appropriate support
