Assessment criteria
What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Watch at least five animations created by different techniques eg line drawing, modelling clay, computer animation etc
- Discuss the story arc of the animation ie what happens at the beginning, middle and end
- Identify if there was any part of each animation that was surprising or unexpected
- Discuss with others the feel of the animation and the technique the animator used to create the feel eg colour, music, action etc
- Order at least eight stills from five different animations, images may be similar with the need to look closely for fine details, check the animation order by watching the animation if needed
