Assessment criteria
What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Identify the dangers of electricity use using the following key words:
- electrocution
- insulation
- conduction
- fire faults
- injury
- burns
- Construct a parallel circuit and a series circuit each with three bulbs and a switch
- Record the brightness of the bulbs in each circuit
- Conclude how the electrical voltage is used in each circuit
- Use a voltmeter and ammeter to support their conclusions
