Learning outcomes
What the learner needs to know, understand or be able to do
The learner will:
Be able to experience visits to outdoor venues as part of a group.
Be able to follow simple instructions when out in the community.
Assessment criteria
What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Participate in at least four visits to different outdoor venues eg local park, nature reserve, riverside, beach
- Experience at least three different types of outdoor environment eg wood, parkland, seaside
- Follow a simple instruction on at least two occasions when getting ready to go on a visit eg collecting own coat
- Listen and follow one step guided instructions on at least three occasions when out in the community
