The learner will:
Be able to identify different equipment used to measure length.
Be able to use different unit formats to measure length.
Assessment criteria
What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Identify at least two pieces of standard equipment used to measure length eg ruler, metre stick, tape measure
- Identify at least two pieces of non-standard equipment which could be used to measure length eg cubes, handspans
- Use a standard method for measuring length eg centimetres, metres
- Use a non-standard method for measuring length eg table, book
